I dreamed again last night that I was married to the wrong person (I think there were actually two separate dreams with this same theme). Well, I woke up horrified....I didn't even know who the second guy was! I just remember telling a friend (in the dream), "Oh yeah, I got married last Thursday." [Yeah, I wasn't even excited or anything. And I think in one of the dreams I realized that we didn't even go on a honeymoon after the wedding. That was weird.]

Being married to the wrong person = worst nightmare. I mean, I know a lot of people say that any godly Christian guy will do, but there are really people one is not supposed to marry!! (Unless God commands it, I guess, like Hosea and the prostitute. Oh gosh.)
Before you got married, I would make sure you're excited. Otherwise I will be the one standing up and saying "I object!" when the pastor asks if anyone has a concern before the vows.

The pastor asking about concern thing is usually just in the movies
ReplyDeleteOr actually, he does ask if there are concerns, but he does it during premarital counselling rather than the ceremony
