El Yogur

I made yogurt today!!!!!! That's right--MADE. Special thanks to my roommate and her mother! ;) And....I still have to try it to see how how it turned out. I think the milk burned a little (no, it definitely burned...) while I was boiling it. Oh well.

Well, I am now three weeks into Summer Project (I still need to send out an email update). Can't say that most of my time is spent in a busy fashion, although......it somehow has been busy. So much so that I feel as if I have very little time to myself, which means I have little time with God, which seems as if I'm missing the whole point of me being here. Perhaps some of it is my fault--perhaps I'm the one who keeps myself busy. Well anyway, please pray for me on that--that I would have more time to dig into the Bible and to read the Urbana books I bought.

Here's what my weekly schedule looks like--anything not in a time frame can be assumed as job hunting or being at your job or free time (at night):

Sunday
7:30am - 1pm: Church (I LOVE the church I go to--Fountain of Life. It's near/almost in Compton).
3pm - 5pm: Women's and Men's Time (we separate)
Any two hours after that: Night of Reflection (on our own)

Monday
8:30am - 9am: Prayer
6pm - 8pm: Family Night (when we all go to this house, eat, and listen to a testimony and Bible lesson)
8:30pm - 9:30pm: Leadership Teams (for me, this means meeting with the Prayer Team)

Tuesday
9am - 11:30am: Training (can be evangelism, Bible, or other)
1pm - 5pm: Ministry locations (FOL for me or the FOL Family Center--we cleaned out the garage this last Tuesday)
NIGHT OFF

Wednesday
8:30am - 9am: Prayer
6pm - 8pm: Social (so far we've done a pool party, scavenger hunt, and volleyball tournament)

Thursday
8:30am - 9am: Prayer

Friday
8:30am - 9am: Prayer

Saturday
8am - 10am: Bible study (with small groups aka your roommates + a staff member)
Outreach or evangelism event later on

And there you have it! There's a lot more that's on my mind that I would write down, except that it's almost 1am, and I have to wake up in 6.5 hours, so I'm going to go to sleep. Alrightyyyy good night!
