For sophomore year!!! It's GREAT to be back...O-week was really fun, but tiring and, many times, frustrating. Being basically the only responsible one on your advising team and also a newbie advisor AND the only one with any visual artistic ability = you can imagine. And the coordinators KNEW they were doing this to me. Roar. But it's all good in the end, because my freshmen are great, and I love 'em =].
Sophomore year. Sigh. I need to focus. Manage my time. It's going to be really busy. I can't believe classes start tomorrow.....and yet, this year will fly by, too. I wonder what will happen.
Something I am really thankful for--Christian suitemates. Perhaps I didn't realize it then, but it was really hard living without Christians roomies last year. It's very, very comforting to have that subtle, yet powerful sisterhood in Christ. I am very thankful for that.
Now.....now I'm just tired. Still recuperating from O-week. Haven't gone back home. Ecstatic to be at Rice. Slightly anxious about the coming year and workload. But...do not be anxious about anything.....excited to see how having Baker and Will Rice back will change South colleges' dynamics. Interested in various other things. Trying to get a bike?
Next summer. Latin America. I hope it happens. (I want to say 'it better happen' but that's pushing it.)
Should I go home for Fall Break?
