2. Okay more seriously, yesterday was the first time I deleted a contact from my phone because he passed away. I found out via a news article while researching some other potential employers, and it made me really sad. I had met him and interviewed him about homelessness in Houston, and he had helped me out with a final research paper I wrote for a class at Rice, and the professor who taught it was really good friends with him and had introduced me to him.
3. Which led me to realize that I still really, really care about homelessness and solutions for it. That was always up there with human trafficking, so I may try to intern with HUD at some point in law school, probably during a school semester.
4. Realized this morning that my years of "allergy" to steak—but not beef cooked in other ways—may have actually been a case of (persistent) salmonella OMG. All the symptoms were there except for the fever, and it definitely makes sense....I FINALLY FOUND THE ANSWER!!!!! Maybe. Just a hypothesis. Anyway, I was trying to eat an egg with ramen this morning except it didn't really cook (at all) so then I was worried about getting salmonella, which led me to look up the symptoms so I could know if I did get it, which led to this epiphany.
5. The last five posts on my Facebook wall all have to do with songs from Frozen.
