How interesting. K hypothesized that it was burnout, and I think she may have been right. I don't think this has ever happened to me before in an academic sense, but I'm not over it yet. It's so incredibly interesting how things unseen can affect your physical body. That is, that burnout can shut your body down despite your own will power. Or I guess burnout will get rid of your will power. So will depression. I don't think my studies have been majorly affected, and spring break is here just after this coming week. So grateful for that, even though I will need to spend it studying.
The joy of the Lord is my strength. Was thinking about that the other day...what does it really mean? I need strength, and the joy of the Lord is my strength. Just as seeing somebody else's joy can encourage me and make me happy for them, is it the case that knowing the Lord is joyful—and, perhaps, joyful because of my actions or worship of Him—is what should strengthen me? That being a part of His purpose is what gives me strength?
Perhaps so, but I think resting in Him also gives strength....
