Am frustrated once again by the lack of servants' hearts here!!!!!!!! It seems like all they care about is having fun and making sure they get their "day off." Making sure they even get to go when they want to! They can't dedicate just 2 more hours to the one week they really need us.
What's the point?? What's their purpose?? Are they just not mature enough? I am really angry right now! I hate this kind of hypocrisy amongst Christians.......who do and say one thing at one point and the complete opposite at another!
Ughh!!!!!!!! I'm not even sure my frustration is sanctioned or allowable; I don't know if I'm the one picking on the speck in my brother's eye when I've got a plank in mine....it sure doesn't seem like it but what do I knowwww aahhhhhh. This is what I referred to as my earlier frustration.......I just don't know.
And forget that I'm the leader of this ministry site and gets the pleasure of breaking the bad news of broken promises and then receives heat and that tangible disappointment.....forget that my co-leader won't even step up and say something.....forget that I've already told them they need to be there consistently, and they still don't listen.
What. Ever. If I get heat for this, fine. Fine. Really. It's good for me to learn and experience this now (how ironic, yet another experiential situation of taking the heat) and know that (haha yet again) it's not my flippin' fault. I think.
Okay. Plan of attack. Tell them they need to be there. Tell them that if they can't go, they need to find me and tell me, instead of me finding out two hours before we need to be there. And if they choose not to do that, fine. I can take all the heat for it, but ultimately it's not on me. And it's fine if no one else knows that but God. Apart from that, act with all grace and honesty.
Have fun at the beach, guys. (sarcasm)
i can see how that would be frustrating. can you get a meeting together or something and explain the scenario - what happened, and maybe people can share their thoughts? or maybe they can suggest a solution? that's all i can think of, hope next time goes better.
ReplyDeletei guess the point being to get some dialogue going

Aw! I'm sorry Stephanie. I can imagine the frustration you're going through (I think I'd be reacting pretty much the same way). Will be intercedin' for you!
