Last time until winter break, as of right now. Twice a year is good...but I think I'll definitely stay in Houston/not-live-back-in-Indy after graduation.
The weather is delicious right now. Not the perfect 72 degree, diaphanous sunlight, slight breeze kind of weather, but the crisp air, still sometimes chilly, but vividly clear skies, colors, and smells kind of weather (also known as spring). And no mosquitoes. Huge plus. Am still recovering from the many, many bites left to me on my last night in Houston by a mosquito that wrecked shop on my right hand and left foot. One of my knuckles is swollen to the point of pain. Fun stuff.
Saw an aloe vera plant at CVS today. I really want one.......ever since I first encountered the plant in China three years ago (oh, and also because I had about a bajillion mosquito bites on my legs--my grandparents cut off a stem for me and made me apply the aloe to the bites), I thought it was the coolest plant ever. I don't generally think plants are cool.
...Or maybe I do. I'm not really sure.
Finished my Med Soci final! Yay! Just a research paper to write now, and it will be semi-enjoyable. On the movement and evolution of street vendors in Rio de Janeiro, 1800s - present. Actually a very interesting topic. And I get to learn a tiny bit of Portuguese along the way.
It's raining outside. I always miss hearing the rain when I go to sleep. I never hear it at Rice.
Sleep. Right. Going. Now.
